Well if you were expecting an English version of “Gangnam Style“…sorry, Psy says there are no plans for one.
On September 18th, Psy revealed in an interview with MTV, “I do not want to cause confusion among the 160 million people who watched the ‘Gangnam Style’ music video. An English version will not happen” (at the time of the interview, there were 160 million views).
He explained, “I think that rather than the language of this song, the sound, dance, and nonverbal aspects are more important.”
However, as he has revealed before, there are plans for an English album and he’s been working on this with Scooter Braun.
Honestly, not surprised by this at all…actually quite happy that he’s not making an English version of the song. Nonetheless, looking forward to hearing more details about his English album in the future. ITS ENOUGH FOR DA KOREAN VERSION !! WE ARE VERY GRATEFUL!!!! :))
